Jesus who is God, the Son,
showed the Gospel concisely
to his own at the Last Supper
at the end of his last discourse
to his people before he went
to the cross as our Substitute
to pay for our sins
as though our sins were his,
so that he be our eternal life
as though his righteousness
were ours:
And when he [the Spirit] is come,
he will reprove the world
of sin,
and of righteousness,
and of judgment:
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
of righteousness, because I
go to my Father,
and ye see me no more;
Of judgment, because the prince of
this world is judged.
(John 16:8-11 KJV)
Jesus would send his Spirit
to his people to testify of him
and to convince the world
of the Gospel:
And when he [the Spirit] is come,
HE WILL REPROVE THE WORLD
of sin,
and of righteousness,
and of judgment:
(verse 8)
Jesus preached the Gospel from heaven
thru his Spirit by his people,
especially by Paul to the nations,
having given him the Gospel
by revelation,
that was the same as
the concise Gospel
Jesus had shown
while yet on earth,
that Jesus himself is
our Righteous Substitute,
righteous for us forever
in our stead for our salvation:
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, BECAUSE I [JESUS]
go to my Father,
and ye see me no more;
Of judgment, because the prince of
this world is judged.
(verses 9-11)
Jesus showed that same Gospel by his Spirit
to Luther for the Protestant Reformation.
Since the Reformation,
other so-called "gospels"
that are based on personal
so-called "righteousness"
rather than on Jesus being righteous for us
forever in our stead for our salvation,
have pushed aside the real Biblical Gospel.
To be saved,
people must receive faith from Christ
to trust him to be righteous for us
forever in our stead for salvation,
which is a return to the Gospel
that Jesus showed concisely
while still on earth,
and that he showed from heaven
to Paul to preach
to the nations,
and that he showed
to Luther for
the Protestant Reformation.
Jesus saved me by showing
me that same Gospel
despite at the time
my being lost in
deepest darkness
in the occult
called Mormonism.
Except for the remnant
that Jesus has given faith
to trust him to be righteous
for us forever for salvation,
that he takes in the Rapture
(Revelation 3:10),
the two billion
professing Christians
supposing they
"have need of nothing"
(Revelation 3:17)
need to return to the Gospel
that Jesus showed on earth
and that he showed from heaven,
before he comes suddenly
for his Church:
I counsel thee to buy of me
gold tried in the fire,
that thou mayest be rich;
Behold, I stand at the door,
and knock: if any man hear my voice,
and open the door,
I will come in to him,
and will sup with him,
and he with me.
(Revelation 3:18,20)
